Get Caught @ The Undertow August 26th and 27th!!

-What type of music? We are a 2 piece band(Jordan on guitar,vocals and Prasad on drums), we  would describe ourselves as a rock band with influences of grunge, metal and alternative rock.
-When did you first start? We started out in October 2015 as a weekly jam project which eventually became an open mic thing and finally a band as it stands now.
-Why did you decide to start it? Both of us wanted to express ourselves on our instruments through jamming.
-Are you a solo Artist or part of group? We are a 2 piece band.
-What name do you go by?  Mochsha
-How did you come up with the name? We wanted a unique name and meaning for our band, we got it out of brainstorming ideas.
It means liberation in Sanskrit which is an ancient Indian language(which is influenced obviously by Prasad who is from India )
-Who do you like to collaborate with? 
-Where do you play? We started out playing open mics in the hazel park, and ferndale area. The phoenix cafe has been our home base of sorts.
-When are your upcoming shows?
We’ll be playing at The State Fair Grounds on September 30th
