In this episode we take a departure from the normal comedy and interviews, we’re doing in order to tackle a topic that carries weight to this day.
We present both fact and opinion here, but we make sure to draw clear lines between fact and opinion.
The Rodney King beating and the subsequent trial and roits that happen after the Rodney King verdict was handed down. A beacon points in our history. In the 30 years since Rodney King was attacked, not much has really changed within our society. Racism still runs rampant, police are still beating and killing minorities and society seems to want to turn a blind eye to the majority of the issues that keep us locked in this cycle.
